For Sale: 1966 Ford Mustang Coupe (Tahoe Turquoise, A-code 289ci V8, 3-speed auto)

This 1966 Ford Mustang coupe reportedly has been owned by the same family since 1978, and refurbishment work began in 1980 and was completed in 2007. Ownership was transferred from the seller’s father to the seller in 2019 in preparation for sale. Refinished in Tahoe Turquoise over an Aqua interior, this example is powered by an A-code 289ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and a 3.00:1 rear end. Additional features include air conditioning, 14″ styled steel wheels, and dual exhaust. The seller notes that the car has equipment consistent with the factory GT specification including a 13/16″ diameter front sway bar, an A-code engine, front disc brakes, and a tubular bar and bracket reinforcement on the rear frame rail for the dual exhaust. In 2020 the starter is said to have been rebuilt, the battery and spark plugs were replaced, and the oil was changed. This first-generation Mustang is now offered with a car cover and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.
