For Sale: 1965 Ford Mustang Convertible (Caspian Blue, 289ci V8, 4-speed)

This 1965 Ford Mustang is a K-code convertible that was manufactured in San Jose, California, where it remained with its original owner until 2006. Finished in blue over black with a white soft top, the car is powered by its numbers-matching 289ci HiPo V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The engine was rebuilt in 2005, the exterior was refinished in 2006, and the suspension and brakes were overhauled in 2007 when the seller acquired the car and moved it to Ohio. Approximately 8k miles have been added over the past 13 years, and service since 2018 has included installing electric power steering, changing the oil, and replacing the starter as well as the radiator. This first-generation Mustang is now offered with its removed gauge cluster and carburetor, manufacturer’s literature, records dating back to the 1970s, a black California license plate, and a clean Ohio title in the seller’s name.
