For Sale: 1968 Ford Mustang GT Fastback (green, modified, 5.0L "Coyote" V8, 6-speed)

This 1968 Ford Mustang GT fastback is a modified example that was delivered new to Hal Lowry Ford of Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, is said to have been purchased by the prior owner in 1972, and was later parked outside following a collision in 1984 until the seller acquired it in 2018. The vehicle was subsequently refurbished with a body-off rotisserie repaint in green and installation of a replacement powertrain consisting of a 5.0-liter “Coyote” V8 mated to a Tremec T-56 six-speed manual transmission. The interior was reupholstered in black with new TMI front bucket seats, and additional modifications include a Holley Sniper EFI fuel tank, a TIG-welded exhaust with MagnaFlow mufflers, an 8.8″ rear end from a 1996 Mustang Cobra, coilovers all around, Wilwood slotted and drilled brake rotors, and U.S. Mags Rambler wheels. After the build was completed, the car was featured in the November 2020 issue of Street Machine magazine. This modified Mustang GT is now offered with refurbishment photos, a Deluxe Marti report, and a clean Pennsylvania title in the seller’s name.
