For Sale: Ex-Florida Highway Patrol 1989 Ford Mustang LX SSP (blue, 5.0L V8, 5-speed)
This 1989 Ford Mustang LX SSP was first delivered to Duval Motor Company in Jacksonville, Florida, before being assigned to a lieutenant in the state Highway Patrol. It was then painted white and used by the Fort Walton Beach Police Department from 1992 until the early 2000s, after which it was refinished in its original Medium Shadow Blue Metallic approximately 10 years ago. Power is from a 5.0-liter V8 mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a Traction-Lok differential. Additional equipment includes strobe lights, two-way and AM/FM radios, sirens, a tilt steering column, air conditioning, power mirrors, a calibrated speedometer with a VASCAR cable, and a single-key locking system. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in 2020 from a police detective in Pennsylvania. This Mustang SSP is offered with a Deluxe Marti Report, a Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
