For Sale: 1966 Ford Mustang Fastback (Royal Blue Pearl, white stripes, modified, 289ci V8, 4-speed)
This 1966 Ford Mustang fastback was refurbished and modified in the mid-1990s with a Shelby-style fiberglass hood, quarter panel air ducts, an Edelbrock carburetor, long-tube headers, a Holley electric fuel pump, an aftermarket camshaft, and 17″ American Racing wheels. The car was then refinished in Royal Blue Pearl with painted white stripes, and power is from a 289ci V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission and a 9″ Cobra Automotive differential. Other modifications include aftermarket bucket seats, four-point harnesses, a roll bar, and an aftermarket stereo. Recent work is said to have consisted of fluid changes, a tune-up, and replacing the radiator, water pump, spark plugs, and ignition wires. This modified Mustang fastback is now offered by the selling dealer in New York with transferable Connecticut registration.
