This 1970 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500 fastback was first sold by Tasca Ford of East Providence, Rhode Island, and it is one of 98 examples equipped with the “Super Cobra Jet Drag Pack” for the model year. The car was refurbished and modified by its previous owner, with work said to have included exterior and interior color changes and replacement of the engine and differential. Its 428ci “Cobra Jet” V8 is paired with a three-speed Select Shift automatic transmission, and additional features include a limited-slip rear end, rear window louvers, center-exit exhaust outlets, power steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, and 15″ five-spoke wheels. This Shelby GT500 is offered with an uninstalled Traction-Lok differential, a window sticker, an Elite Marti report, and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.
